Many othertypes of doors can be equipped with this operator, providing the door has a shaft as the basic driving element.

Features -

Three Button Control:

Momentary contact type for up, down and stop. Operator may be stopped in any position and door moved up or down from that position. Operator can be wired for constant pressure down when specified. Control circuit 24V. A.C. for user's protection.

Adjustable Automatic Friction Clutch:

To protect door and operator in case of obstruction.

Reduction:

Rugged power unit of this operator utilizes a large size V belt (5L) and heavy pulleys for primary reduction, roller chain and steel sprockets for secondary reduction to the output drive shaft. Pulleys and sprockets are mounted on 1" (2.5cm) C.R. steel shaft rotating on high speed, precision, self-aligning pillow block bearings for efficient long lasting, hard working, high traffic operation. Heavy Duty Solenoid Brake:

Features -

Three Button Control:

Momentary contact type for up, down and stop. Operator may be stopped in any position and door moved up or down from that position. Operator can be wired for constant pressure down when specified. Control circuit 24V. A.C. for user's protection. Adjustable automatic slipping clutch: Will protect door and operator in case of obstruction.

Limit Switches:

Screw type with oilite bronze cams and precision micro switches for both up and down automatic stopping of door positions, easily adjustable without tools.

Reduction System:

The power unit of this operator utilizes a large size V belt (5L) and heavy pulleys for primary reduction, roller chain and steel sprocket for secondary reduction to the output drive shaft. Mounted on 1" (2.5cm) C.R. steel shaft rotating on high speed self-lubricating, self-aligning pillow block bearings for efficient long lasting, hard working, high traffic operation. Door operating speed approx. 1.0ft. (.3m) per second.

Dual Trolley:

Cast aluminium alloy chain driven carriage, slides on dual heavy steel angle tracks with full No. 41 push and pull roller chain for smooth and quiet operation. In addition a roller spreader is provided to support trolley and prevent chain from rubbing.

Reversing Contactor:

Heavy duty type STRUTHERS-DUNN or equal.

Quick Release Door Arm:

Quickly disengages operator from door (without tools) for manual operation in the event of power failure. 1" x 3/8" (2.5cm x .93cm) H.R. steel bar bent to 90o adjustable to suit headroom with spring loaded hook, attached to aluminium door bracket. This arm quickly disengages operator trolley from door without tools, for manual operation in the event of power failure.

Commercial Door Opener Manual Overload Relay Chestermere:

For overload and under voltage protection. (Can be reset manually).

Chestermere Commercial Door Opener Motor:

1/3 H.P. (.33hp), 1/2 H.P. (.5hp), or 3/4 H.P. (.75hp), 115V., or 230V., 1 phase - 208V., 440V. or 550V., 3 phase. (1 H.P. not recommended on single phase motors).

Commercial Door Opener Motor control Chestermere:

Heavy duty reversing contactor STRUTHERS-DUNN or equal, two sets of three pole contactors on a common frame, mechanically interlocked to prevent simultaneous closure, clapper-type armature with three point suspension, auxiliary contacts DPDT on each armature, coils 24V. A.C. Amps resistive 120V. A.C. 15 amps, 240V. A.C. 10 amps, 550V. A.C. 5 amps. Motor 1 H.P. maximum. Terminals .250" (.625cm) quick connect, mechanical life 10 million cycles.
