Trained professional servicemen deliver mobile repair and installation in service vehicles that are stocked with trade related tools and a large variety of commonly used repair and replacement products.

In-store sales and service counters are staffed by experienced trained door and lock servicemen that are well equipped with trade related tools and extensively stocked with products to match our customers DIY needs and customer supplied product repair needs.

Door Surgeon maintains a comprehensive policies and procedures manual outlining staff expectations. It addresses medical leave and vacation time, appropriate coffee and lunch breaks, smoking regulations—including no smoking on customers’ properties—dress codes, proper attire, safety equipment and footwear, on-site safety concerns, drug and alcohol testing, and the confidentiality and privacy of information related to payment methods, key control systems, and access control systems. It also covers many other subjects that promote professional performance, ongoing training, and courteous communication.

All our mobile door and lock service trucks are equipped with GPS tracking units that monitor and report each vehicle’s location, travelling speed, and driving activity. Our service trucks are also equipped with front- and rear-facing cameras that record vehicle incidents and help monitor driver behaviour.

Our sales and service centres carry an extensive selection of lock, door, and key parts. Our service-counter staff are either certified journeyperson locksmiths, registered apprentices in the Locksmith Apprenticeship Program or extensively trained man door and garage door repair servicemen. Every service team member—whether working in one of our shops or providing mobile service—receives hundreds of hours of company training in locks, keys, automotive ignitions, safes, and doors.

All our door, lock and key sales and service centres have security cameras that monitor and record customer and staff interactions to help ensure our service standards are consistently met.
